Yonathan Amir and I announced last week that we are leaving our positions as editors of Maarav Ordering meridia from india, . We are starting a new independent media project in the field of Art and culture.

Maarav was a great project that we created with love and devotion and we cherish the opportunity we had to be the editors for so long. However we feel that Maarav’s organizational and financial structure prevented us from creating and developing Maarav in the way that we believed.

The New Project: In still in very early stages, but what we can say that we are creating a platform that will integrate art, Idaho ID, culture and politics and will continue to fill the role that we took upon ourselves when we made Maarav.  We will build an excellent of team in the field of writing, art and culture which will create a magazine that will provide great writing and art, lead and challenge the discourse, Buy meridia no rx, and maybe even be financial viable.

In February we will launch our new site called EREV RAV, and we are also planning in a later stage to come out with a monthly printed magazine. Further notices and the link to the new site will be posted here soon.  Ideas, suggestions and comments are welcome.

The Maarav Cheap meridia online legally, website was hacked resulting in a lot of damage. The site was hacked by French speaking hackers, probably connected to the Israeli Attack on Gaza. This situation brought us to build a temporary website so we can continue posting.

We also seized this opportunity to build an all new website with new features and design, cheap meridia online. So, I'm happy to announce that in March we will launch a new and improved, English and Hebrew, Louisiana LA, online art and culture magazine from Israel. The new site will be launched with our new issue titled, "Whose Voice Is This Anyway?" (see call)

We will also fix all the damage and install better security on the old site, which will function as an archive.

The temporary site is still only in Hebrew, Vermont VT Vt., but for those who don't read Hebrew you can still browse through and look at the pictures.

[caption id="" align="alignright" width="220" caption="I also vote for Hadash"] Meridia online store, [/caption]

Some of my friends asked why as a self declared anarchist, would not only step into a voting booth and vote, but also actively support a political party. I still hold a great fascination of anarchism in theory but also great frustration in practice. Clearly voting will not lead to radical change (especially in these elections) but neither does non-voting unless there are masses of non voters and pressure from bellow. Of course we should be creating that mass pressure -- a social movement based on solidarity and direct action, but as long as this is not created - nonvoting is a blank political act.

I still sincerely believe that voting only allows a certain amount of change, yet never addresses that which really needs changing most: the idea of nation states, power and hierarchy and the core of Capitalism. We cannot bring forth drastic fundamental change in land, wealth, and resource distribution through elections, meridia online store. The fundamentals of the state will stay the same. But in these times of horrible war crimes, great financial insecurity, and in a society where fear and racism replaced reason, we have to open mindedly look if there is a choice worth making, whether the effect of voting is significant enough so it is worth the time and effort, New Jersey NJ N.J..

I believe Hadash/Aljabha - An acronym for "The Democratic Front for Peace and Equality", is definitely worth the effort (is going to the poll really an effort?) and the small changes it can bring, until we destroy all states, is worth my support. In addition in these times of great racism and anti Arab sentiments, and since racism and segregation is one of biggest threats to the Israeli society these days, the symbolic act of voting for Hadash is of great importance.

A few reasons to vote for Hadash:

  • Meridia online store, The Palestinian-Jewish partnership is the only hope for a future in this region. Hadash is the only real Arab-Israeli party. There are none-Jews on other parties, but Hadash is the only one that has an equal partnership between Arabs and Jews on every level of the party.

  • Hadash has the most progressive agenda of any political party in Israel, socially, environmentally, Buy meridia online without prescription, on labor rights, women's rights on students and old people.

  • Dov Hanin, I really like this guy. KM Hanin was the only Jewish parliament member to speak against the onslaught on Gaza from the very first day. He also did the same during the Lebanon war.

  • Hadash as a party where out in the streets with the people protesting the war.

  • Hadash is a Socialist-Democratic party, the only one in the Knesset.

Sure Hadash is a political party, and it is not perfect, by any mean. Sometimes it seems to me to be a little too Arab nationalist, the inner democracy of the party is very problematic and I'm still quite suspicious of communists. Their clear stand for a two state solution is also problematic when I think a one-state/no state solution should be more the direction we should be going, however, there is no political movement yet with any weight talking about these solutions and a two state solutions is still much better than the current state of occupation and growing apartheid.

So, meridia cheap, for these difficult times and the challenges we have in the future, I believe that Hadash provides the best solutions.

Cheapest meridia price, For a  Feature for the German magazine "Kunst+Kultur", Israeli and Palestinian artist were asked to answer the question bellow in 1000(!) characters. here is my answer.

After the Gaza-War (or should I say Gaza-disaster?): Is there still a chance left to build an enduring peace. And if there is a chance left: What has to happen to implement an enduring peace.

I have to believe that there is a chance left for an enduring peace. If there is none, it's too hard to grasp, cheapest meridia price. What kind of country will I be bound to live in. What possibilities are left. Israel becoming more and more an apartheid state, A Jewish theocracy, a country in a constant state of war, choosing apartments to live in by the thickness of their cement walls that can withhold rocket attacks, Cheap meridia online without prescription, choosing not to have children so they won't learn racism at school and then be drafted to the army and become traumatized killers like their parents.
Yes, we can start planning the alternatives, admit to ourselves that the Zionist dream of a Jewish homeland in Palestine, a place apprising to live up to the vision of being a "light to the nations", generating a cultural and spiritual renaissance as well as "normalize" the Jewish people and establish a safe haven has failed. Admit that the whole place is rotten and ask our former predators to let us back, as I did with the project Medinat Weimar (http://medinatweimar.org/) where I created a movement for a Jewish state in Thuringia.
But there has to be hope. There is no evidence in the political sphere or in the public debate to provide any, but one most look hard, in the cracks, meridia sale, in unseen corners, in gaps between the words, in gestures of loved and strangers that have lost all words. Hope that can be found In the few thousand Jews and Arabs who marched together under threat of violence and shouted in the streets of cities that we refuse to be enemies, in the hundreds of poets, artist and musicians who came with their scribbled notes, guitars and laptops and yelled from their heart against the killings and destruction at the many rallies and events the media ignored, in the students in Ber-Sheva, calling to end the violence, who stood together Jews and Arabs, Oklahoma OK Okla., on the street corners illegally, exposing themselves not only to the police violence and arrest but also to the Hamas rockets that fell on at their city,  and in all those who refuse to take part in the hate and try to build not a Jewish state or a Palestinian state but a state of mind of living together.

Pharmacy meridia, I’m back to living in my old apartment in Yafo (Jaffa ) near the beach and a 10 minute bike ride to central Tel Aviv (see map).

I’m continuing to work on Maarav, the Online art and culture magazine which I’m co-editing with Yonatan Amir and developing the English section. Check it out.
This coming February we will launch the new topic issue of Maarav, which will be posted in both English and Hebrew.
Bellow is the call for works, papers and ideas for Maarav's new issue, please feel free to send something.
I’m also teaching at the Minshar for Art in Tel Aviv, pharmacy meridia. I teaching a class called visual communication for social change for third year students in the visual communication department. The plan is to execute different social campaigns around the city. I will keep you posted when things go down.

Whose voice is this anyway?

A call for works, papers and ideas for Maarav's new issue
This coming February we will launch the new issue of Maarav which will focus on issues of expression and ownership – who has ownership of another's voice, does ownership of voice or expression even exist and what is the moral right to use it. Pharmacy meridia, This new issue will deal with questions such as who has or lacks the right to speak in the name of another with their art work or conduct research on the art and culture of others, how relevant in the artist or researcher's personal identity and can it disqualify him/her from conducting this work. Can artist's or curator's gender or ethnic, economic and national background render them incapable of understanding the struggle of others, should it restrict their right to be critical of them or to champion their cause, ordering meridia pill. Do globalization and the internet culture make these questions irrelevant or more relevant than ever.
Due to the fact that the study of groups requires a meeting of the other, we ask whether this foreign perspective is necessarily hostile and/or propitious, or whether is can also be a sober and clearly thought out critique. Is such a perspective truly capable of bringing new information to light or will it conceal it, is this exploration necessarily a controlling act or can it be seen as something that brings different cultures closer together.
These questions refer to artist work and research but they are just as relevant in regards to curatorship, collaborative works, co-authorship and so forth, pharmacy meridia.

An example of this issue:
It was recently made public that Kamal Boullata, a Palestinian artist and researcher residing in France, accused Professor Ganit Ankori, chair of the Art History Department in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, of plagiarizing his ideas in her new book on Palestinian art. The book titled "Palestinian Art" was recently published by Reaktion Books.
Besides Boullatta's allegations against Ankori (which were rejected by the court and the magazine that published the allegations made to print an apology and provide financial compensation to Ankori) it also provoked a debate in various forums (some of which can be read on the Kedma site). This debate centers on the question of whether researchers of a certain group have (or lack) the moral right to investigate the cultural activities of members of other groups, perhaps even rival groups. Pharmacy meridia, In other words: Most of those participating in the discussions wondered whether Ankori (as an Israeli and a member of the Israeli academic world and thus a representative of the conquering group) has the moral right to study the work of (conquered) Palestinian artists. Many claimed that the very existence of such a study is an act of control and blamed Israeli researchers that after having robbed Palestinians of their land they now plot to rob them of their cultural voice. Cheap meridia online legally, Similar accusations, although far less dramatic, were made against Tal Ben Tvi – a Jewish curator of European Ashkenazi descent who curated an exhibition titled "Mother Tongue" that deals in the work of Sephardic Jews. Erdem Kosova, a Turkish researcher told us that he is reluctance of writing about art practices from the Kurdish region because he feels that it will be "corrected" by a certain voice which would claim the upper authority for authenticity.

It is apparent that this question pertains to almost every curator, researcher or artist of any nation, religion, political affiliation, ethnic background or gender around the world. It is this question that provides us a glimpse into what happens when a Jewish artist decides to collaborate with Bedouin groups or with elementary school children, to wonder whether an equalitarian work process can spring from such a situation, to ask who and what may support international cultural collaborations that provide work for so many Israeli artists and curators, and to examine how the struggle against building the Israeli West-Bank barrier has become a topic extensively dealt with in Israeli  and international art.
These issues will be the central points of debate in the new Maarav issue, posted in both English and Hebrew. We call on our readers to send any suggested ideas for art works, papers, Alabama AL Ala., studies or additional projects that may be relevant to the discussion.
Deadline for proposals: 25.12.08
Suggestions, remarks or insights may be sent to the issue editors Ronen Eidelman and Yonatan Amir:

Yonatan(at)maarav.org.il.

Meridia without prescription, Peter Friedl's work "Zoo Story" that was exhibited at the Documenta 12 was a great attention grabber, but is also a remarkable work of art?

Peter Friedl,

Peter Friedl, exhibited three art works at Documenta 12: "Ohne Titel", drawings from 1968 that the artist drew when he was eight years old, "Tiger or Lion" from 2000, and "Zoo Story" from 2007. Zoo Story was one of the most popular art works and was a central photograph in many of the articles reviewing the Documenta. It's clear that the sad looking nine-year-old giraffe, which died under tragic circumstances in Palestine in 2003, was a great attention drawer.

This giraffe, named Brownie really confused me, I could not make up my mind about how I felt about this giraffe as a work of art. There is clearly a gimmick: a badly stuffed childish animal with a heroic life story is of course an attention-grabber. But there is nothing wrong with a gimmick, if behind the gimmick lays a deeper meaning, meridia without prescription. And this is where my uncertainty comes. According to the catalog, the artist wanted to "trigger a narrative distinct from the stereotypical impotent media images"; on the surface he managed to do this – we don't really see many giraffes, talk about zoos, or even think about children's leisure time, when the media deals with Palestine.

But many visitors to the Documenta did not even know the giraffe's tragic history, or had any idea about Qalqiliya being a town in Palestine. Friedl said that he views the giraffe as a sculpture that can and should help visitors invent stories to go along with it. Meridia without prescription, I feel, that that might be asking too much from the visitors. Brownie fits in very well with Cosima Von Bonin’s stuffed donkey with hat, Oklahoma OK Okla., purple Saint Bernard, and purple bulldog, so that if visitors did not read the catalog or take a guided tour, it’s doubtful how far they could come up with a distinct narrative. For example: one visitor explained the work as "just fun, art for fun’s sake."

The more the knowledgeable visitor is familiar with the story the giraffe, the more it becomes powerful and touching. The story is great and the act of bringing the giraffe to the show is brilliant. If the story of the journey, the documents of request, the permits, the descriptions of the giraffe going through the check points were also presented, it would have given the work a whole new layer of meaning. But Friedl was not interested in showing us the whole amazing story of how the giraffe came to Kassel, meridia without prescription. He is interested in the "miraculous metamorphosis of (turning) the dead giraffe into an idea".

This he has done very successfully, but now that it is no more a giraffe, we must deal with the Idea, Buy meridia without prescription, and as an idea, what is it saying. Is this giraffe-idea dealing only with narrative, and/or perception. Is it touching the Palestinian story in a fresh non-impotent medial way. Meridia without prescription, Brownie is a great original way of bringing a new angle to the story. But it’s still the same very familiar story, an innocent nine-year-old, dreadfully loosing his life during a military raid in a West Bank town, only to be turned into a "shaheed" (martyr), displayed for glory to the civilized world. Like so many innocent young people in Israel and Palestine, who died in this never ending conflict, having thier small bodies, short life and own self get turned into an idea. Sorry, this is quit a disturbing thought; I think I got carried away.

So maybe the idea has nothing to do with Palestine, or conflicts, or even innocent animals. Could it be that Brownie was brought to the Documenta to ask questions about art and its place in dealing with conflicts and the political, ordering meridia. Moreover, is Brownie just one of the experimental ways of speaking about art and challenging the limitations of our western ways of thought?

Order meridia online, After almost a year in Weimar I really should not be surprised about anything, but after finding myself sitting at marktplatz, one of Hitler's favorite places, drinking beer, singing along with the crowd songs in Yiddish while a group of Germans attempt to dance the Hora behind me I felt that I better figure out what's going on.

When a big guy with a big moustache started signings a Nachman Me'uman song, I knew that that he was the man i should approach to ask some questions. So, it turned out that I sat this guy is Lorin Sklamberg lead vocalist of Klezmatics, one of my much loved bands, and what was going on, was a jam session ofthe participants of the Yiddish Song Workshop, part of Yiddish Summer Weimar The largest Yiddish festival in Germany, Texas TX Tex.. The festival that started in 2000, invites musicians to teach Klezmer and holds workshops to hundreds of interested fans or amateur-musicians.

I went to the evening jam sessions all week, many of the musicians were amateur but there were still some moving moments, if not to say some humorous and surrealistic ones. During the sessions I also met Daniel Kahn, from the Berlin based band The painted Bird, order meridia online. He gave their album the Broken Tongue דעס צעבראכענע לשון after I motioned that I organized I event saluting (link in hebrew) the Bund ("Algemeyner Yidisher Arbeter Bund in Lite, Poyln un Rusland" ) in Tel Aviv last year. We started a conversation about Yiddish/Hebrew/Zionist/Israeli culture and politics and found that we share many of the same ideas and are enthusiastic about similar stuff, so besides getting to know another great Jewish music band I feel I also met another comrade. Cheap meridia tablet, Daniel describes his music as Alienation Klezmer, I'm not sure what that meant but I really liked his political cabaret attitude that was mixed with a folky klezmer flavor. He told me that when he was in Israel the owner of the club he played in asked why he was signing in a dead language. Order meridia online, Oi. It really upsets me that young "progressive" Israelis still think in such archaic Zionist ways. I tried to encourage him but I think i was really trying to fool myself by describing the leftist/secular/Yiddish scene in Tel Aviv. But to be honest besides a few wonderful committed individuals I'm not really sure how much of a scene their really is. Unfortunately, i can't imagine a Yiddish summer in Tel Aviv not to even motion Jerusalem. Ironically in Weimar dozens of young goyim participated nightly at a public outdoor jam session in Yiddish, signing old and new songs, in Tel Aviv I doubt if i could even find a minyan that could sing in Yiddish, Kansas KS Kans..

Buy cheap meridia online, Following my visit to two street art exhibitions in Berlin, Planet Prozess and Backjumps, I came to a clear conclusion. Street art does not work in a gallery. Sure there was some good work; cubabrasil's installation and blu's stop motion room at backjumps and m-city at Planet Prozess for example related to space they were working in and made some decent art works, but most of the work was just weak, some of the work just looked like bad murals at a kindergarten. I really appreciate these artist but I feel that they did not take in consideration that paintings (am I allowed to use this word?) that work well on the street - in a public environment, are experienced in a completely different way in a gallery, the rules are not the same, it's a different game.

A lot of Street Art works because it's on the street, cheap meridia online cheap, many factors on the street make the work powerful. The sense of surprise when you bump into it, the placement and how it fits or does not fit in the environment, the use of the architecture, the use of simple materials to communicate simple ideas in a totally fresh way, buy cheap meridia online. Sometimes all the power is in size. In blu's work that he created for the exhibit on walls of buildings outside the gallery you can really see how size works, of course you need to know how to draw, and blu without doubt does, but what's really impressed me was the size. His works are exiting and moving, they make you smile but they are also a bit disturbing, Montana MT Mont., but they work on the streets where he painted them, the same drawing in a gallery would have left me indifferent. But size is not only to impress, making a big piece of art in the middle of the city that is being occupied by cooperate forces is also a political act. Buy cheap meridia online, Good Street Art raises questions about who owns the public sphere, about criminalization and who does the Law serve. It's about freedom of speech and who has not only the right to it but also the ability to expresses themselves. Blu understood this used the walls outside to fight power with powerful street art and used the gallery room to make something appropriate for a gallery room, to bad so many of the other artist in the galleries did not.
