Backjumps – The Live Issue#3 is a exhibition and event project devoted to street art and art forms found in public space. Even more than in previous years, this Backjumps will be concentrating on qualitative aspects of providing information. Discussions, lectures, workshops, city walking tours and performances, and will explore the multifarious phenomenon of Street Art through a process of active exchange.
I will be giving the talk with Naomi Tereza Salmon who will present her project “Simon says: Take me by the word”, (on how to become an artivist), together with her thesis, website, and results.
I will present “The separation wall in Palestine – artists love to hate it” about artistic practices and public art related to the wall. the talk is similar to the on i gave at Kunstverein in Hamburg but this time i will put more emphasis on street artist and graffiti writers.
You are welcome to arrive earlier to see the Backjumps exhibition before the talk.
